When I was at Fr. Gregory's Agape Community [1999-2000] one time, Fr. Gregory was talking with us outside the church after a Liturgy. It must have been at the beginning of a fast.
A Greek woman with two pre-teen daughters was talking with Fr. Gregory about fasting, especially about how to fix school lunch boxes, and she said, "... but I can't give them peanut butter and jelly EVERYDAY."
Fr. Gregory thought about that for a few moments. You could tell he was thinking because his gaze focused off somewhere else for a few moments. Then, his genuine response to that was, "Why not?" ...
