Bean Dips

Cheesey Dip Sauce

15.5 oz cooked white beans with juice   280 calories or what is says on can

  (about ½ cup bean liquid)                                                                                  

 1 tsp salt  consider salt already in canned beans                                                         

 ½ tsp garlic powder

  2 Tbls vinegar 

  pinch turmeric


 ¼ cup soy milk powder  90 calories

 ¾ cup nutritional yeast  210 calories


Whizz everything except yeast and milk powder to make bean paste

Combine yeast and milk powder then mix into paste.  

Refrigerate overnight.

Yummy Sauce original McD recipe

15 Ounce Can Cannelini beans, rinsed and drained (or 1 1/2 cups of cooked beans) 

Zest from one lemon 

1/4 Cup Lemon juice 

1 Clove Garlic    or ¼ tsp powder

2 Tbsp Salt free mustard (I use Westbrae stoneground mustard) 

3/4 Ounce Pitted dates (about 3 Deglet Noor)   or ¼ tsp powder
